1) Service Description

SingleRAN is a Huawei wireless solution, which supports one or more RATs (GSM/UMTS/LTE) on a unified base station, base station controller, and operation and maintenance (O&M) management platform. SingleRAN features are classified into the types shown in the following figure.

   

In the preceding figure:

• GSM multimode features, UMTS multimode features, eRAN (FDD) multimode features, and eRAN (TDD) multimode features are multimode base station features.
• Multimode base station controller features are GSM/UMTS multimode base station controller features.

2) Documentation Description

GSM features, UMTS features, eRAN (FDD) features, and eRAN (TDD) features are packaged and released separately.
