HRP Overview

HRP Overview: The Eudemon is a stateful firewall. It produces a session entry corresponding to each session that is dynamically generated. Massive session entries are created on the active firewall through which traffic passes, and no session entry is created on the standby device through which no traffic passes. If the session entries and configuration commands on the active device have not been synchronized to the standby device, a swithover between the active and standby devices will affect the normally running of services, because the traffic cannot match a session entry after being diverted to the standby device.
