We can not see all defined VSIs.
|
Hello all, We are using almost 600 NE40E series routers (NE40E-4, NE40E-X3, NE40E-X8) in our network. Our version is V6R7SPC300 and we are planning to upgrade it V600R009C20SPC600. My question/suggestion is about VSIs. When we wanna change something on a predefined VSI, firstly i have to use "display vsi" command to learn its name. And then i can detemine the VSI which i would use. But, i should do like below; 1- Type "system-view" 2- Type "vsi" and then press "TAB" button and list whole VSIs which defined on router. <NE40E>system-view [NE40E]vsi "TAB" vsi1 vsi2 vsi3 vsi4 What do you think about this? |
Posted by m7g at 2017-08-14 13:40 TAB is used for add command, for see all vsi you can dodisplay current | i vsiordis current-configur ... If you need to change some parameter at a VSI, you should not list all VSIs.. You should directly type; system-view vsi <TAB> and then see whole VSIs.. Otherwise; 1- List whole VSIs 2- copy VSI name which you need 3- system-view 4- vsi "your vsi" |
Posted by oktay.tatar at 2017-08-18 12:32 Thanks for your advice but they are not useful..If you need to change some parameter at a VSI, you ... 1. list whole VSIs - "display current | i vsi" or "display vsi" work at all version. In my version (V600R008C10SCP300) did not work: - system-view - vsi <TAB> - for list all vsi... |

"display current | i vsi" is not useful.. Because you need to list all VSIs before you configure a preconfigured vsi everytime.. But we can directly configure with TAB button.. We typed "system-view" and then "vsi" and then press TAB and will be listed whole VSIs.. But Huawei VRP do not support this function.. |
