Task 3:

(Scenario 3):

Yesterday I observed an R_LOS alarm at NS4 board, although the received power at IN patch cord was nominal, but still R_LOS alarm was generated.

Prologue: I had a complete information of available tools on the support website.

Step 1 : I choose Info-Finder tool from the support website.

Step 2 : Clicked 'Alarm' tab.

Step 3 : Then Product Name OSN 8800 T64

Step 4 : Then "Version", OptiX OSN 8800 T64 V100R010C10

Step 5 : Then, "Keyword", R_LOS

Alarm Handling: Although the alarm was simple to rectified, but due very high temperature in the equipment room, the board was stuck, upon a hard reset to the board, the receiving module of NS4 started its functioning.

Task 1.Post your opinions on the next-generation information tool, do you agree with us to aggregate all information tools on the task basis? Or do you want to just retain what they are now?
Rule: You can get 10 bonuses for any your options and reasons.

Yes the aggregation is a better choice and we are all looking forward to the same.
I had suggested earlier also to make the use of HEDEX Lite and add shortcut icons as step 1 and later develop a offline tool which will be more helpful

Mobile based app will add the exitement and allow use the tool anytime anywhere.

Task 2.Post a scenario that you use Huawei documentation or tool for your daily work. List the task and the steps when you need the document as the example in the above table. The tasks could be preparing LLD, troubleshooting, configuration script making and etc.
Rule: You have the chance for the lottery draw. Once you complete one task, you can get 10-20 bonuses, depending on task complexity. Besides, all these bonuses can be accumulated; however, the final can only be up to 100 bonuses.

HEDEX (Huawei Electronic Documentation) is the next generation documentation, the quality of the documents have been improved in 2017 with more pictorial information TEAM HUAWEI KEEP THE GOOD WORK GOING......

HEDEX is very easy to use in all scenario, and phase of project delivery and maintenance

Pre-sale Team can have better insight of the Harware functionality and prepare the High-Level Design document with dataflow  information to help customer or enduser understand the solution better.

Delivery Team can plan proper project rollout using the example configuration LLD Example

Scripting tool can be used by the delivery team for faster roll-out of project and minimizing manmade error

TAC Team can use it for troubleshooting the Frequently encountered issues under Troubleshooting option in HEDEX Document

Hedex being accessible via WEB BROWSER makes it even more easy to use and share the information without flooding emails

Thank you for detailed advice. Although the activity was over, we could discuss the suggestion. It seems Hedex is very popular for you, Any other info tools would you use before?
