Hello Support Team, You have already done a lot in introducing the emerging technologies in Y2016 via support website, however, we are looking ahead for more from Huawei to introduced in Y2017 as well. 1) Brochures, Manuals and white papers should also be added against each product. 2) Interactive Overview, Featured Videos, Test patterns, Installation stories. All these tabs should be added for each product so as user can easily view a detailed description of his desired product. 3) Document related Huawei certifications should also be highlighted with the product. 4) While submitting comment, counter would automatically be displayed/popped up on the screen which shows the feedback counter of that user 5) Flow charts must be converted into animated flow charts so that user can see the process step by step through its animation 6) Support team can provide online technical courses related to their products to all customers. 7) Smart phone messenger application for Huawei customers should be introduced 8) Price list of the products should also be incorporated in support website. |

This is a really good activity, beside the gift, the knowledge is important for customer, The document on website is so much and full fill with many level. A good documnet only HW can do it, and ZTE, Erricson can not do it. Cannot find some good document on google, but on hw support all have. Appriciate about that |

As multimedia system is introduced in Documentation, it will be good if whole documentation are converted into multimedia system. You can add sector in documentation like planning, operation, implementation etc so that customers can go to specific area to search for his required document. You can add a communication system in each document so that if any customer faces problem, he/she can talk with writer/expert in real time. It will helps customers to solve his problem within minimum time and it also improves customer satisfaction. Also, you will get idea about changes which is required by these conversation as you will be acknowledged about customers concern/requirement in document. |

I think that Huawei document got a lot better over the past year, what I think you should focus on for 2017 is how to use the document in the best way, a lot of my friends get lost with documents and can't find what they're looking for because they simply don't know where to search. So if you add hints where to find things to the documents that will be better. and another thing the newer versions of documents contains additional information, what about adding a link for "check the newer version" to old versions so users with the old versions can notice that there's additional information, it's better than the history page of revisions (actually I never have enough time to read it and check what changed). and another suggestion for enhancing existed documents all list in a document should have export to excel option or word this will ease the work. and there's a lot of related subjects between documents, for example in U2000 documents some information will be completed if you visit WDM document especially for performance so i suggest to find a way to link all related documents instead of letting customer search in different documents for the information that he wants. The innovation in documentation and tool is Huawei's strength in my opinion and it is making Huawei different from other compe***s. In my opinion, Huawei is on top. There is no any company at the moment who has such technical documents and support are open to customer that easily. The rapid improvements and taking customer's feedback to improve as per their needs shows that how seriously does Huawei take their customer's opinion. In short, Huawei should keep doing this way and it's other companies who should learn from Huawei. It is good to see that Huawei's Documentation Department is working hard to improve with time and with the innovations in the documentations and tools. Documents are must and good to have but the facts is that documents are lengthy and nowaday people need instant and quick answers/solutions/information. They do not want to get lost in longer and multiple documents. Therefore, I would suggest that Huawei should focus more on the following in the year 2017: Multimedia Videos: Audiences are more attentive to multimedia messages than traditional documents, presentations done with slides or overhead transparencies. People are more interested in multimedia messages which combine the elements of text, audio, graphics and video. Communication research has shown that the combination of communication modes (aural and visual) offers greater understanding and retention of information. Tools: No one have now enough time to go through large documents to find out their required information. Tools are very effective way to query the information / comparison one may need know within no time. So more online/offline tools should be developed in 2017. Document Customization (DCP): The document customization should be introduced for the readers so they can be able to customize the document contents according to their need. Because not all the readers may require all the contents of a product. Some may just want to read the overview and features, some may only interested in watching multimedia, so may require to learn configurations or how to troubleshoot issues etc. The documents which supports DCP should have a DCP icon with them on the bookshelf so the users may know that this document can be customized through DCP. Format Customization: Apart from the content customization, format customization can also be introduced which allows user to customize the format including font, color, size etc. and also allow them to download the document on their required formats like, doc, docx, hedex, ppt, pptx, xls, xlxs, etc. Intellignet Q/A robots: In 2017, there is need to focus on the Huawei Q/A community [http://support.huawei.com/community/ask]. As per my observation, this year there was no focus on Q/A community. No any activity on Huawei Q/A community was observed. If focused on this, by instantly responding to the queries/questions of the users by Huawei officials, this will be most active and the platform users will rely on to get an instant response to their queries. An Intellignet Q/A robots can be placed to help them get the pre-defined answers to their queries at first place. Then, the respectivity owners of the topics/forums/groups can help on level 2 if required. |
