Question: Why Low Voice Quality when using ipphone? Reason: The call is connected, but the voice is interrupted. The call is connected but influenced by noises. The call is connected but influenced by crosstalk. Echo exists in the call Network fault Physical connection fault Environment conditions Solution: Voice interruption Such a fault is caused by packet loss. To handle the fault, troubleshoot the network: i. Log in to the terminal voice address, and then ping the IP address of the called-party gateway to check whether packet loss exists. ethreal tool to ***yze the captured RTP packets to check whether packet loss exists and in which direction the packets are lost. The packets are not filtered during packet capture. If necessary, capture the packets at both the ONU and OLT sides for comparison and ***ysis. iii. If the fault is caused by packet loss inside the device, upgrade the device version or change the device hardware. |
