Why call fail in ip phone?
Reason:
The fault may be caused by the following:
Telephone fault
Syntax error
ONU configuration error
SS data configuration error
Solution:
If the call fails during the dialing, perform the following operations:
1-Change the telephone to check whether the fault still exists.
2- View the digit map through signaling trace or packet capture
to check whether the syntax is incorrect.
3- Check whether the digit map size exceeds the threshold.
4. Check the long-term timing and short-term timing configuration
on the ONU. Change the timing configuration according
to different SS providers.
By default, the long-term timing is 2000 ms and the shortterm
timing is 500 ms. Change them to 500 ms and 300
ms accordingly.
