hrp interface

Function

Using the hrp interface command, you can create a channel interface for backing up session table.

Using the undo hrp interface command, you can delete a channel interface for backing up session table.

Format

hrp interface interface-type interface-number

undo hrp interface interface-type interface-number

Usage Guidelines

The HRP backup channels interfaces cannot be layer-2 switch interfaces or VlanIf interfaces.

Example

# Set GigabitEthernet 5/0/0 as the channel interface used for backing up session table on the Eudemon.

<sysname> system-view
[sysname] hrp interface GigabitEthernet 5/0/0

# Cancel the HRP backup channel.

[sysname] undo hrp interface GigabitEthernet 5/0/0

HRP is a redundant protocol that has been used inside of two redundant NE like switches/firewalls.
