Question:

Many of the third party devices like Airwave doesn't recognise Huawei as a standard device.

We need to monitor it via SNMP v3 in Airwave.

So, this FAQ is for the solution, about how to configure Huawei Switches via SNMP.

Answer:

In AMP:

Go to--> Device Setup

then --> Add

afterwards--> Universal Network Device

Then you are able to find the place to add the concern Huawei device via SNMP v3. 

Seems like Huawei devices are quite nicely documented!
