If you delete external clock source and try to switch to internal, then LTI alarm may be will not report, May be external slock source must be set first and if deteiorate then it will switch to internal and thus will report LTI alarm.

Hasan_Rafi : I along with customer, do a test to check when LTI alarm came. So, to do test, we first delete External clock source so that its clock switch to internal. We wait more than 10 mins but no LTI alarm came.
