Symptom

After an NE-side fault is rectified, the alarm corresponding to the fault persists on the MSTP series, WDM series, WDM (NA) series, RTN series, PTN series (except PTN 6900 series) and marine series NEs.

Possible Cause

The NE time is incorrect, inconsistent with the MSTP series, WDM series, WDM (NA) series, RTN series, PTN series (except PTN 6900 series) and marine series NEs time.

Procedure

1. Choose Configuration > NE Batch Configuration > NE Time Synchronization from the main menu (traditional style); alternatively, double-click Fix-Network NE Configuration in Application Center and choose Configuration > NE Batch Configuration > NE Time Synchronization from the main menu (application style).
2. In the left pane, select an NE and click http://localhost:7890/pages/OMC/01/OMC/01/resources/dms_trouble/18/image/fig_1825_01.png.
3. Click Synchronize with NM Time to synchronize the NE time.
