Symptom

Electronic labels cannot be exported from the U2000-IP.

To export electronic labels, choose Inventory > Project Document > Export Electronic Label from the main menu. In the Select the export NE dialog box, choose OSS under the Physical Root node and click OK to export electronic labels to a desired path.

The following figure is an example of electronic labels exported from the U2000 to the oss\server\var\projdoc\dump path in normal cases.

Problem Locating

Step 1      Check whether the transport component is installed for the U2000.

If the transport component is not installed, the problem where exporting electronic labels fails exists. For U2000 patch versions earlier than V100R009CP3011 and V100R009SPC202, the electronic labels are stored in the dynamic database of the transport domain, and the corresponding process is eml_pubsvr.

This problem has been solved in U2000 V100R009CP3011 and V100R009SPC202.

Step 2      Check whether the U2000 is installed in an HA system.

When the secondary site in the HA system is configured, the sysconfigure.xml file in the oss\server\etc\conf path needs to be modified. If line breaks are not added between parameters in the configuration file (as shown in the following figure), exporting the electronic labels from the U2000 fails. To solve the problem, add line breaks between parameters. A trouble ticket has been submitted for this problem.
