Planning-free, link query failure

Symptom

When a user attempts to deploy basic NE configurations in DCN mode, a message is displayed indicating that the links that can be planned are not found.

 

Problem Identification

The name of the upstream NE is changed for the NE that will go online. As a result, the NE name stored in the plug-and-play management system is different from the actual NE name.

Problem Locating and Cause Analysis

                               Step 1      Selected a link in the topology and checked its upstream NE name.

 

                               Step 2      Opened the plug-and-play management system and checked whether the name of the upstream NE was the same as that in the DCN view. If the name of the upstream NE was different from that in the DCN view, links to be planned could not be queried.
