Symptom

Generating a peer script fails after a link planning table is imported to the plug-and-play management system.

Problem Identification

By default, peer scripts cannot be automatically generated. To manually generate a peer script, choose Deployment Configuration > Deployment Overview and then Basic NE Configurations. Then click Set Peer Default Rule on the Checking Peer Configuration Template tab. If the A CSG and the master or slave ASG on the ring function as peers for each other check box is not selected in the On the Access Side area of the Set Default Peer Generation Rule dialog box, generating the peer script fails.

Solution

Perform the following steps:

                               Step 1      Select the A CSG and the master or slave ASG on the ring function as peers for each other check box.

                               Step 2      On the Script Management page of the plug-and-play management system, select an NE, right-click, and choose Refresh Script from the shortcut menu.
