The northbound interface is used by other manufacturers or operators for access and management. In the telecommunications management network (TMN), the northbound interface is the interface between the EML and NML. The U2000 is an operation and maintenance (O&M) system that centrally manages Huawei wireless products and provides a full range of northbound interfaces to meet a variety of operator requirements.
Figure 1-1 shows the main northbound interfaces provided by the U2000.

Operators can select interfaces and interconnection modes based on the requirements of third-party O&M systems on the live network.
Figure 1-1 shows the supported northbound interfaces. Actual data instances of the interfaces depend on the definition of the NE data, including parameters, counters, and alarms.  

2) Documentation Description
Northbound data definition: WLAN northbound data definition documentation focuses on the SVA-AC and contains its northbound data definition (in terms of counters, alarms, and events).
  

Release frequency: formally released for the first time at TR5 check point; updated and released at the TR6 check point, GA. After the GA point, if no northbound changes exist, the northbound patch release will not be updated; if there is any northbound change, only the change-related documentation will be updated.
Documentation acquisition: Directly obtain the document package matching the target version, if available. If no such package is available, the target version incorporates no changes when compared with the most recent version and you can use the northbound document package for the most recent version.
