Way to upgrade Support website account permission

If you don’t satisfied with your Support website account’s permission, if you want to upgrade your Support website account to read more product documents. This article may fit you well.

Types of Permission

First of all, I’d like to introduce you the permission level of Support website account. Generally, there are five types of permission.

l  Huawei Engineers Permission

l  Huawei Partners Permission(Outsourced Engineer)

l  Equipment Users Permission(Equipment Account)

l  Special User Permission(Common User)

l  Unregistered Users Permission

Your Permission

Customer

Customer’s permission ranged like this: Unregistered user > registered user (also named Special User or Common User) > Equipment user. Form the left to the right, customer gets more privileges.

If register Support website using your working email address, your account will be upgraded to Equipment user automatically. But if your register with your personal email address, your account should be in “Special User” level.

Needing upgrade your account to get a higher permission level.

Partner

Huawei partner’s initial account permission level is “Huawei Partners Permission”, but can also get a higher level through upgrading the account.

Steps of Upgrading

To upgrade your account permission, please follow:

1、 First, Use the account and password login support.huawei.com. Click “My Space” button first in the right side, and then enter the page of “My Account”. As showed in the following figure.

2、 Click “Apply” button of which permission level you’d like to apply for, and enter the page of “Account Upgrade”. As showed in the following figure.

3、 Please fill your information in the page of Account Upgrade.

Tips : ”Huawei Engineer Email” should be filled a real Huawei Engineer’s email who will verify and pass your application, so fill a familiar Huawei Engineer’s email is the key point to upgrade account privilege quickly.

4Click “Submit” button.

You application information will be verified in 3 working days. And the result will be sent to your email box.

hi, I have just checked, but there is no such option to upgrade account in My Account page, just baci account information without any upgrade options. Could you please thell why I can't see it? Thanks.

Dear, it means that you already get the highest permission. I can't see the upgrade button now too.

Do you have any idea, how can i follow up/contact whom if it's still not getting approved?
It's been 2-3 working days,& unfortunately my account still not upgraded yet!

Do you remember the "Huawei Engineer Email" you filled in "Account Upgrade" page when apply the account permission?
This huawei engineer will get your application.You may email him directly or ask another huawei engineer you know to contact him.

In carrier, my account is equipment.
But in enterprise, my account is common user.
why they not automatically same ya?
