That is great. i strongly recommend to develop and use this, in other equipment like OSN and DWDM .i think ,t he most advantage of this kind of configuration is easy calculation of power consumption.
comment: 1-there isnt any key for reset the config , it means , if you select Batch and then change to single there is nt any reset key for that.
2-during the unit selection if tou add brief description about the that board (only one sentence) will be usefull

So, I have been posting feedback in the feedback box underneath the tool, but I am not sure where the feedback is showing. As for the tool:
The part numbers are not the same as what I see in the proposals we get from Huawei. I still have to do some searching before choosing the right part number. The tool assumes you know all the differences between the different parts.
It would be helpful if the following information was also available:
- required parts for a certain choice should be added automatically.
- an option (link or help button) to see what the specifications are for a certain part number
- a warning if a choice is not compatible with a certain choice, the reason why and an alternate solution to be able to get that specific configuration
Until now, the only useful information I get from the tool is how the configuration looks like and what the power consumption is.

The layout of the tool looks good.

The tool can be made more user friendly by adding "Help" buttons for explanations for the different options.

The information for the power consumption is very helpful for planning purposes.

The tool is a good start and has room for improvement. Keep up the good work!
