Judging from mentions on internet fora, there seems to be quite a lot of Mac users having trouble with their E220 terminals. See for example http://forum.transmissionbt.com/viewtopic.php?p=24639
Specifically, I am experiencing that the connection goes dead after a while (5-10 minutes) with high traffic. Pinging a random IP from the terminal, I get:
ping: sendto: No buffer space available
This is driving me crazy.
In general, the Mac software supplied for the E220 is somewhat disappointing. It:
* doesn't follow Apple UI standards * crashes often * floods the syslog * asks for admin password upon connecting * etc.
Could HuaWei please:
a) confirm that you are aware of these issues, and working to resolve them, if you are,
or
b) initiate constructive dialog with customers experiencing problems in order to resolve them.
