there are 2 posibilities:
1. to output the transceiver power information

2. to output the transceiver model

In my opinion all the campus box switch display the same information as bellowed. Could you show me which model you met before it is different?

<HUAWEI> display transceiver diagnosis interface gigabitethernet 0/0/4
Port GigabitEthernet0/0/4 transceiver diagnostic information:
Parameter Current Low Alarm High Alarm
Type Value Threshold Threshold Status
------------- --------- --------- ---------- --------
TxPower(dBm) -4.64 0.00 0.00 abnormal
RxPower(dBm) -4.37 33.00 0.00 abnormal
Current(mA) 7.42 0.00 0.00 abnormal
Temp.(ºC) 30.00 0.00 0.00 abnormal
Voltage(V) 3.28 0.00 8.19 normal

in our network we have some of this kind of switch S5328C-EI-24S with VRP (S5300EI-V100R005C01SPC100) in some of them we can view optical parameter with these commands:
display transceiver diagnosis interface gigabitethernet 0/0/4 or
display transceiver interface gigabitethernet 0/0/4 (verbose)
but in a few of them these commands do not display any details

As you describe the situation, it should be related with transceiver model. Probably some transceivers are not certified, therefore the switch can't read the optical information.
It's best to check the model of transceiver and see whether you find any pattern.

yes,you are right but I have checked by the transceiver that support DDMI ((Digital Diagnostics Monitoring Interface) and those commands dont display optical details.

it could be an interoperatibility issue, but Huawei issue a warning notice about the risks of using not-certified transceivers:
http://support.huawei.com/hedex/ ... ocid=EDOC1000021450
Check the message, it's similar with the situation you encounter:
Improper register settings cause errors or failures in reading parameters or diagnostic information.
Some non-Huawei-certified switch optical modules have improper register values on page A0, which can cause errors or failures when the system attempts to read parameters or diagnostic information from a data bus.

Here there is a way how to check whether the transceivers are certified or not.
