Methods used to restore the password of TCM user admin

If the password of TCM user admin is lost, you need to reset it to the initial password and set a new password.
The specific password restoration methods fTCM user admin are as follows:
1. If TCM uses the MySQL database, restore the password as follows:
(1) Choose Start > Run and enter cmd to open the Window command-line interface (CLI).
(2) Run the following commands to execute the MySQL program. Replace the path in the following command with the real installation path of MySQL and replace mypassword with the password of user root.
cd c:\Program Files\MySQL\MySQL Server 5.5\bin
mysql.exe -u root -p mypassword
(3) Run the following database commands and enter the encrypted password corresponding to the current version.
use cdms_terminal
update sys_user set password='encrypted password' where name='admin'
2. If TCM uses the SQL Server database, restore the password as follows:
(1) Choose Start > All Programs > Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 > SQL Server Management Studio and enter the login information to go to Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio.
(2) Click New Query to open a new query page, enter the encrypted password corresponding to the current version, and run the following commands:
use cdms_terminal
update sys_user set password='encrypted password' where name='admin'
