Why cannot an 802.11a/b/g/n NIC receive 5 GHz signals when the AP works at channel 149

The 5 GHz frequency band is divided into the low frequency band (5150?250 MHz), medium frequency band (5250?350 MHz), and high frequency band (5725?825 MHz). China uses 5.8 GHz with available channels 149, 153, 157, 161, and 165. China supports medium and low frequency bands, but the State Radio Regulatory Commission (SRRC) opens only the 5.8 GHz frequency band. The NICs produced by some vendors support 5.2 GHz but do not support 5.8 GHz. If this problem occurs, you can change the AP channel to work on the medium or low frequency band.
