Slots where the active and standby SCC boards reside

The slots occupied by the active and standby SCC boards are not fixed. Generally, when the system starts, the SCC board with a smaller slot ID serves as the active SCC board, and the other SCC board serves as the standby SCC board. You can query the active/standby status of an SCC board by using either of the following methods:
1. View the ACT indicator of the SCC board. If the indicator is on, the SCC board is in the active state. If the indicator is off, the SCC board is in the standby state.
2. In the NE Explorer of the U2000, choose Configuration > Board 1+1 Protection from the Function Tree. Click Query. The working board, protection board, and current board can be queried. The current boards refer to the active SCC boards.
