Common causes of card registration failures and corresponding solutions

1. Check whether the card is present.
Run the display device command. In the displayed output information, check whether the value of the Online field of the slot in which the card is installed is Present. If the value of the Online field is not Present, the card is not present. Install the card again or in another slot.
2. Confirm whether the version of the device supports the card.
Run the display elabel command. In the displayed output information, check the BOM field of the slot in which the card is installed to obtain the BOM code of the card. Confirm whether the version of the device supports the card based on the BOM code of the card. If the version of the device does not support the card, update the version of the device.
3. If the card still fails to be registered after the preceding procedures are performed, contact Huawei engineers.
