Application scenarios of BIOS jumper settings

The BIOS jumper settings for erasing the system parameter area are 1010.
The BIOS jumper settings for erasing the flash memory database are 1011.
The BIOS jumper settings for erasing all data except board manufacturer information are 1111. In version later than V100R007C02, database clearing is automatically performed by the software, without requiring BIOS jumper settings.
Database clearance scenarios include the following:
Scenario 1: Two system control boards are configured.
For maintenance versions except V100R007C02, set the BIOS jumpers to 1101 to clear the database.
For V100R007C02, set the BIOS jumpers to 1111 to clear the database.
For V100R008C00 and later versions, database clearance can be automatically performed by the software, without the need to set the DIP switches or BIOS jumpers.
Scenario 2: Only one system control board is configured.
Full restoration of the CF card (supported in V100R006C03 and later versions): Set the BIOS jumpers to 1001 to quickly restore services.
Common database clearance (applicable to all versions): Set the BIOS jumpers to 1011 and 1010 to clear the database.
Scenario 3: A board is sent back for repair (applicable to all versions).
Set the BIOS jumpers the 1111 to clear the database.
