Functions of the TWC and RWC boards on BWS 320G devices

The TWC board is applied on DWDM optical terminals and optical regeneration devices, and is located at the transmit end. The RWC board is applied on DWDM optical terminals and optical regeneration devices, and is located at the receive end.

The functions of the TWC and RWC boards on BWS 320G devices are as follows:
1. The TWC board converts optical signals transmitted from SDH devices into wavelengths required by the WDM system through O/E and E/O conversions. Different TWC boards convert optical signals of different wavelengths.
2. The RWC board transmits optical signals to SDH devices. It selects either 1310 nm or 1550 nm based on the SDH wavelengths.
