Commands for checking basic OSPF information on S series switches

You can run the following commands on an S series switch supporting OSPF to check basic OSPF information:
display ospf abr-asbr
The command output displays all entries of routes to the ABR and ASBR.
If you run this command on a device in a stub or an NSSA area, information about the ASBR is not displayed.
display ospf asbr-summary
The command output displays summarization information about OSPF imported routes.
If no IP address or mask is specified, summarization information about all OSPF imported routes is displayed.
display ospf brief
The command output displays brief OSPF information.
display ospf cumulative
The command output displays statistics on an OSPF process.
display ospf error
The command output displays OSPF errors.
display ospf interface
The command output displays OSPF interface information.
display ospf lsdb
The command output displays information about an LSDB of OSPF. You can select parameters to check LSDB information, such as summary information, information about the LSA of a specified type, the originating device, and the spontaneous LSA.
display ospf nexthop
The command output displays next-hop information.
display ospf peer
The command output displays information about an OSPF neighbor.
You can troubleshoot OSPF faults and verify the configuration of the OSPF neighbor based on the command output.
You can also check whether graceful restart (GR) is enabled on the neighbor.
display ospf request-queue
The command output displays information about the OSPF request message list.
You can locate and rectify OSPF faults based on the command output.
display ospf retrans-queue
The command output displays information about the OSPF retransmission list.
display ospf routing
The command output displays OSPF routing table entries.
You can select parameters to check information about routes to a specified interface or next-hop address.
display ospf vlink
The command output displays information about OSPF virtual links.
display ospf sham-link
The command output displays information about and attributes of all sham links in a specified OSPF process or area.
debugging ospf event
The command output displays OSPF events.
debugging ospf lsa-originate
The command output displays the origination information about LSAs.
debugging ospf packet
The command output displays information about sent and received OSPF packets. Packet types include ACK, DD, Hello, Request, and Update. If no packet type is specified, information about all OSPF packets is displayed.
debugging ospf spf
The command output displays SPF details, including information about the tunnel interface for IGP shortcuts and forwarding adjacency.
