How to select loop prevention protocols when creating a network

Select loop prevention protocols when creating a network based on the site requirements as follows:
If network services have high performance requirements (for example, the fault convergence time must be at the millisecond level), select the SEP, RRPP, and SMLK protocols. Otherwise, select the STP protocol.
If the network structure is a ring topology, select the SEP and RRPP protocols. If the network structure is a tree topology, select the STP protocol. If two uplink ports are used to transmit data, select the SMLK protocol.
If the network must connect to other manufacturers, select the STP protocol. Otherwise, select the SEP protocol. The Smart Ethernet Protection (SEP) technology is developed by Huawei. The SEP supports topology viewing, multiple modes for selecting blocking points, millisecond-level fault convergence time. The SEP is recommended for new networks.
