How to configure a combo interface to work as an optical interface or electrical interface

By default, a combo interface works in the auto mode. The combo interface automatically works as an optical interface or electrical interface.
-If a network cable is not connected to the interface, the combo interface works as an optical interface when an optical module is installed on the interface.
-If a network cable is connected to the interface and the interface is in Up state, the combo interface works as an electrical interface when an optical module is installed on the interface.
-If a network cable is connected to the interface and the interface is in Down state, the combo interface works as an optical interface when an optical module is installed on the interface.
-If a network cable, an optical module, and an optical fiber are installed on the interface, the combo interface works as an optical interface after the device restarts.
You are advised to run the combo-port { fiber | copper } command to forcibly configure the combo interface to work as an electrical interface or optical interface.

If a combo interface is forcibly configured to work in a different mode from a remote interface, the two interfaces cannot communicate.
