How to restore default configurations or modify configurations on a port

1.To modify configurations on a port, you may first restore the default configurations on the port if non-default configurations exist.

2.Methods to restore the default configurations.

In V100R006 and earlier versions, run the undo commands in the interface view to delete configurations one by one.

port link-type trunk //The port type is set to trunk.
undo port trunk allow-pass vlan 1 //The port is removed from VLAN 1.

[HUAWEI-GigabitEthernet0/0/2]port trunk allow-pass vlan 1 //The port is added to VLAN 1. In V200R001 and later versions, run the clear configuration interface GigabitEthernet 0/0/2 command in the system view to delete all configurations. After the command is executed, the port is shut down. You must run the undo shutdown command to start the port.
