Differences between a PoE power module and a common power module on an S series switch

A PoE power module and a common power module on an S series switch have the following differences:

Appearance: On fixed switches, a PoE power module has a fan, but a common power module does not. PoE and common power modules are not distinguished on modular switches (S7700, S9700, S9300, and S12700). The modular switches need to support the PoE function and power modules in PoE slots.
Function: A PoE power module can provide power for both the entire switch and the PDs, whereas a common power module can provide power for only the entire switch.
