How to release the storage space

Run the reset recycle-bin, delete /unreserved, or rmdir command to delete outdated and unnecessary files to release the storage space.

NOTICE:
Exercise caution when you run these commands because files cannot be restored after being deleted.

Run the reset recycle-bin command in the recycle bin to empty the recycle bin to release the storage space.

Squeeze flash:/123.txt?[Y/N]:y
%Cleared file flash:/123.txt. After you run this command, the device displays a message each time before it deletes a file or a directory, asking whether you want to delete it. You can select Y or N to confirm the deletion.

Before clearing the recycle bin, you can run the dir /all command to view information about all the files and directories in the storage medium, including files in the recycle bin. Files in the recycle bin are marked by [ ].

Run the delete /unreserved command on the storage medium to delete unnecessary files permanently to release the storage space.
delete /unreserved flash:/test/test.txt
Warning: The contents of file flash:/test/test.txt cannot be recycled. Continue? [Y/N]:y
Info: Deleting file flash:/test/test.txt...succeeded. After you run this command, directories are not deleted.


Run the rmdir command on the storage medium to delete unnecessary directories permanently to release the storage space.
rmdir test
Remove directory flash:/test?[Y/N]:y
%Removing directory flash:/test...Done!
