Method used to switch owning controllers of LUNs

When member disks in the RAID group where the LUN resides are SATA/NL-SAS disks, you need to set all LUNs in the same RAID group to the same owning controller.
If there are multiple RAID groups whose member disks are SATA/NL-SAS disks, evenly distribute LUNs in each RAID group to different controllers.
When member disks in the RAID group where the LUN resides are SAS/FC/SSD, you need to evenly distribute all LUNs in the same RAID group to different controllers.
1.Open the Modify LUN dialog box.
In the ISM navigation tree, choose All Devices > All Devices > SN_XX > Storage Resources > LUN. (SN_XX indicates the name of the target storage system.)
In the ISM information display area, select the LUN to be modified.
Click Modify.
The Modify LUN dialog box is displayed.

Note:
In the Modify LUN dialog box, you can modify the owning controller of the LUN and attributes such as the LUN name, prefetch policy, and write policy.

2. In the Owning Controller dialog box, select the owning controller to be set.

3. Confirm the modification of the LUN's general attributes.

Click OK.
The Information dialog box is displayed, indicating that the operation is successful.

Click OK to return to the LUN management page. Modification to the owning controller is completed.
