How to Change the Name of a CIFS Normal Shared Directory?

You cannot directly change the name of a CIFS Normal shared directory. Perform the following steps to change the name:
1.Delete the share that you want to change.
a.In the navigation tree on the ISM main interface, choose All Devices > Clustered NAS Storage System > NAS Services > CIFS.
b.In the function pane, select the CIFS Normal share that you want to change.
c.Choose Normal Share > Delete.
The Warning dialog box is displayed.

d.Ensure that no service is running and select I have read the warning message carefully.
e.Click OK.
The Result dialog box is displayed.

f.Click Close.
2.Create a share.
a.In the navigation tree on the ISM main interface, choose All Devices > Clustered NAS Storage System > NAS Services > CIFS.
b.In the function pane, choose Normal Share > Create.
The Create CIFS Normal Share dialog box is displayed.

c.Set Share Name to the desired name.
d.Keep the other parameters' values consistent with that of the deleted share.
e.After the setting is completed, click OK.
The Result dialog box is displayed.

f.Click Close.
